I just got the strangest email from the History Channel (A&E):

Many of you record The History Channel Classroom for later use. If you recorded “Russia: Land of the Tsars (Part 3)” on the morning of July 26, 2006, we want to alert you to a technical error ocurred through no fault of The History Channel during its transmission. It is important that you discard or delete any recording you made of this program. It is likely that you preview programming before you share it with students. In this case, we recommend that you delete the recording completely even before viewing .

I wonder what it was that was so offensive on the DirecTV feed of this show on July 26th that they don’t even want me to LOOK at it!
