Carputer — MP3’s
My music collection is a mish-mash of formats. I have RealAudio files from 6+ years ago, Windows Media files, MP3 files, and some other oddities. Most players will only play a subset of these. 
FrodoPlayer seems to bring them all together in one interface. Yay, Frodo!
My file naming conventions need some work, though. I’ll be experimenting with the optimal name formats for Frodo to be happiest. Then I’ll set about renaming them all to match… hopefully in an automated fashion.
The music feature is a primary feature of the carputer. It’s late to the game because it’s been dwarfed by the coolness of having movies and GPS maps in the car at all times. But now that I’ve pulled the library over to the car, it’s starting to get some attention.
Later I’ll add some audiobooks for everyone to listen to. Hopefully the adults will get some time without kids around so we can listen to some spy thrillers.
