| This is most of the system. The motherboard with a 1GHz processor, 512MB of DDR, the 802.11b wireless network dongle, the Earthmate GPS receiver, the 120GB hard drive (desktop size). I ordered the car power supply (Opus 150w) and LCD Touchscreen (Lilliput 8") but neither has arrived yet. Should get here tomorrow. Also, if you look at the serial cable closely you can see the power mod I made to power the GPS receiver.* Viewed: 1690 times.

| This is where I plan to install the guts (mobo, hard drive, power supply). There used to be a CD case holder here. Won't be needing *that* anymore!* Viewed: 2692 times.

The CD case holder assembly that came out of the car. I'll be cutting this up a bit to make more room, installing the computer on it, and setting it back in the van.* Viewed: 3305 times.

| Uh.. whoops. Point of no return! I tried to get to the screws to take this thing out, but I couldn't without removing the dash. Maybe I should've removed the dash. Well, there's no turning back now. Viewed: 1578 times.

| I plan to put a DVD-ROM drive in this slot. It used to be a storage pocket, until I took my pliers to it.* Viewed: 2743 times.

| The headliner is easy to cut. It's just 1/4 inch foam. Use a utility knife, exacto knife, pocket knife... whatever.* Viewed: 2472 times.

| Cut a small hole in the ceiling for the plywood backing. The plywood doesn't need to be thick. 1/4-inch is fine.* Viewed: 2110 times.
